It runs in the family!
Passed down through the years, our family business is now in its third generation. Stationery and art tools have always been our passion, but so has curiosity. We’re always on the lookout for new tools, solutions, and varieties that spark creativity and keep us evolving. Most importantly, we’ve grown up within our community, and being friendly, helpful, and easy to reach is at the heart of how we work.
Born in the 80s
Our first stop was on Corniche Mazraa in the 1980s, where our first shop opened under the name “Mabsout Stationers.” It was a small space but full of energy. We were excited and hopeful, choosing to stay in Beirut and build something from the ground up, even with all the uncertainty the city carried at the time.
Our world quickly filled with stationery, pens, pencils, markers, fine brushes, paints, paper, sharpeners, erasers, and so much more. We knew these tools were slowly shaping what we were building in our beloved city.
Gilar on Hamra street
In 1997, we moved to the vibrant Hamra Main Street where we opened our retail store Gilar offering the widest range of stationery, art supplies, office materials, bags & more. In addition to our retail outlet, we also operate on the corporate level and the wholesale level.
Zalka Warehouse & Distribution
Supporting this growth, our Zalka warehouse serves as the core of our wholesale operations, enabling efficient inventory management and reliable distribution to our partners.
